Holiday Club

We will NOT be able to offer a  Holiday Clubs for October half term 2017. This is due to an over booking of the Lodge Room.

Our holiday club is run by the XYZ After School Club team and based at the Lodge Room at Aboyne Lodge School, Etna Road, St Albans, AL3 5NL. We welcome children from Year R – Year 3  from all local schools, not just those who attend our regular schools – so why not bring a friend?  Variety of themed activities, indoor and outdoor games, cooking, competitions, face-painting, and lots more! Small, friendly group – maximum of 24 children- for a safe, home-from-home environment. We provide morning and afternoon snacks, and fresh fruit and drinks are available all day.

Please note a minimum of 12 children per session is required for the session to operate. Should we not reach the required number, a decision whether we will be able to run will be made three weeks prior to the start of the Club. This is to ensure families who have already booked have sufficient time to find alternative arrangements. Early booking is therefore essential. Completed booking forms must be received before places can be confirmed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment -Payment is required in full to confirm your booking. Payment also confirms the acceptance of the booking “Terms & Conditions.”

We can take bank transfer, cheque or childcare voucher as payment. Cheques are to be made payable to ABC-XYZ Childcare Ltd.

The full balance must be received by the week before the Club commences with a completed booking form.

If you are not already a member of ABC- XYZ Childcare Ltd. a completed registration form must also be received with your booking form.

It is the parent/carer respononsibilty to inform us of any addtional support your child may require in a free-play group setting. Failure to do so may result in your place being cancelled.

If your balance is not made by the date due we may have to cancel the booking.

Behaviour Standards – All children are expected to treat each other, and staff, with courtesy, respect and politeness.  We are an inclusive club, and take into account all childrens’ safety and welfare during their time with us.

Confirmation – Your confirmation invoice will detail your children’s details, dates and amount due to ABC-XYZ Childcare Ltd. Please check it and let us know within 14 days if the details are not correct.

Cancellations – Cancellations must be made in writing at least one month prior to the commencement of the Club and can result in loss of your payment if not enough notice is given. ABC-XYZ Childcare Ltd. regrets that you will be charged for children unable to attend through sickness.

Collecting Children – Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that they or an authorised person collect their children before the end of their session. For the protection of your children, no child will be released to an unauthorised person.  When collecting children, the authorised person should sign the register with time of collection.

Late Collection – An additional charge of £10.00 per quarter hour will be made for any child who has not been collected by an authorised person by the time they are due to be collected.

Photography – We may take photographs that may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. If you’d rather your child was not included in these photos please state this in your registration form before the holiday club starts.

Safeguarding – When registering your child you must specify any medical information to enable us to act appropriately and professionally. Medication can only be administered by staff if the appropriate form has been completed in advance – please contact us if you will need to complete a form. All information given will be treated in complete confidence.

Staff have a duty to respond if they suspect a child in their care may be suffering from abuse, or if a child makes a disclosure about abuse. In this event staff will follow our Safeguarding Policy and take appropriate action.

Staff –  we provide a 1:8 staff:child ratio.  All staff have received an enhanced CRB/DBS check.

Liability – ABC Breakfast Club & XYZ After School Club are covered by public liability insurance; however we do not accept liability for loss or damage of personal items. It is the child/ parents responsibility for personal items brought to the holiday club.

Policies and Procedures – Policies and procedure are available in the Lodge Room for any authorized person to read.
